It didn't take long for 1989 Monache graduate Brant Brown, who has extensive successful coaching experience in the Major Leagues, to land on his feet. The St. Louis Cardinals announced on Tuesday they hired Brown as their hitting coach. Much like he was asked to do in 2023 with the Miami Marlins, Brown will be tasked with turning around an offense to hopefully make a young Cardinals team a postseason contender in 2025. The Cardinals finished over .500 in 2024 but a big reason why the Cardinals weren't a playoff contender was their lack of offense.
